3D engineering & BIM
From BIM model to machine-ready steel.
A closer look at the engineering behind our residential work. Each sample project is built as a 3D digital twin in Vertex BD, then converted to the machine language that drives the roll-forming line, one model producing the isometric drawing, the panel layouts, and the studs and tracks themselves. The panelized light gauge steel and volumetric modular systems behind these California builds. Cal Steel delivers the steel scope, fabrication, panels, and modules, framed and set on site. The Holiday Inn and Northridge senior housing were delivered in collaboration with Advanced Building Systems (ABS).

Selected projects
Panelized light gauge steel at scale.
Larger hotels and senior-living communities framed in panelized light gauge steel. These were delivered in collaboration with Advanced Building Systems (ABS), the company through which our team built its multifamily and hospitality LGS capability. We show them to illustrate the scale and capability of the system, not as projects built solely by Cal Steel.
