Meet the factory.

Most builders buy their steel and subcontract the framing. We own the line. Step inside the 100,000 square foot production base where master coil becomes light gauge steel, panelized walls, and complete volumetric modular units.

Owned production base

We own the line, from raw steel to finished build.

Cal Steel Group owns the production stack behind every project: a 100,000 square foot facility in Van Nuys and manufacturing in Tecate, where master coil is slit into light gauge steel, roll-formed into structural profiles, panelized into wall systems, and assembled into complete volumetric modular units, then erected on site by our own crews.

As the steel and modular arm of TESH Group, that owned base keeps design, fabrication, and field execution connected under one accountable platform, with no panel-only middleman.

From coil to finished box

One owned line, master coil to set module.

We do not outsource the build. Every stage runs in-house, so quality and schedule stay under one roof.

01

Master coil slitting & roll-forming

Master steel coil is slit to width and roll-formed into structural studs, tracks, and profiles on our own line, with gauge and dimensions held to engineered spec.

02

Panelized walls & components

Profiles are framed into engineered wall, floor, and roof panels, squared and fastened in the shop, then bundled for flat-pack delivery and on-site erection.

03

Complete volumetric modular units

Panels are assembled into finished three-dimensional modules, framed and closed in under controlled conditions, ready to crane onto a prepared foundation.

04

Wet-room pods & prefab assemblies

Bathrooms, MEP racks, and other repeatable assemblies are built as drop-in pods, cutting field labor and trade stacking once the structure is set.

On the line

Structural-grade steel, fully custom.

A multimillion-dollar Pinnacle X10 Infinity roll-forming line, one of the most capable cold-formed steel platforms in production. It runs heavier gauge and larger profiles than a typical LGS line, manufacturing wall, floor, and roof truss frames and post-and-beam trusses for buildings up to 12 stories, driven by our Vertex BD digital twin.

Delivery & logistics

From our yard to your foundation.

The build does not stop at the factory door. Panelized light gauge steel walls, floors, and roof systems ship flat on flatbed trailers for on-site erection, and complete volumetric modules are wrapped and trucked as finished boxes, ready to crane onto a prepared foundation.

We coordinate load-out, transport, and site logistics so the steel arrives in the right sequence for a fast, clean set, whether it is a single ADU or a multi-unit development.

  • Load-out sequenced to the on-site erection plan
  • Permitted transport for oversize panels and finished modules
  • Crane and rigging coordination for the set
  • Just-in-time delivery to keep the site clear and staging tight
